Amy Solomon / Principal
Amy Solomon is a public relations and branding guru with a passion for real estate development, green building, design and impact investing. Amy has over a decade of experience delivering results-driven media campaigns. She has a track record for top tier national and local media placements. Amy is known for her creativity and her ingenious methods of reaching various audiences. She forms strong bonds with her clients, and is passionate about her work and the success of her media campaigns. This drive led her to found Solomon PR in 2008. Amy landed her first PR gig in 2003 at a boutique New York City firm, TKPR, still a partner firm for select clients. By the time she was 24, Solomon was independently managing four media campaigns including The Trust for Public Land. She gained confidence meeting one on one with national press, influential clients, and eventually traveling across the nation on media tours. She worked at CBS News, Conde Nast Publications, and Inside Edition. Amy Solomon founded SMART ENERGY BOSTON in February 2012. Solomon graduated from Brandeis University with a degree in American Studies and Journalism. She enjoys skiing, hiking, traveling, and spending time with her family and hilarious dog Max in Boston.
Francis Thomas Capone / Designer – Developer
Francis was raised on Photoshop. He’s spent half his life using it and other Adobe programs, as they evolved alongside computer technology. He’s worked as a professional graphic and web designer for 10 years. I have a background in fine art, photography and illustration. Francis like to work with small business owners and self-employed professionals, his projects are as much labors of love as they are assignments. He is currently based in Los Angeles. When he’s not working at a computer Francis is out building instruments and furniture, playing music, or hanging out with his wife Alisha and their dog Ramona.
Lauren Screeden / Associate
Lauren is a Chicago native and graduated from Indiana University with a dual degree in journalism and Spanish. She has worked in several major market television stations including the NBC-5 Investigative Unit in Chicago and WGN-TV. Lauren produced the Chicago’s Very Own segment for the evening news department at WGN. While completing her degree, Lauren worked at the Indiana University Office of Communications as a general assignment reporter. She also worked at WTIU/WFIU News, the PBS/NPR affiliate in Bloomington, Indiana. Lauren loves the Chicago Cubs and in her free time, she enjoys sailing and running.
